Sailor Talk!
Tayahna 4 months!
Tayahna at 4 months old weighed 12.9 oz! She got her shots the same day too, and you think that would get easier the more babies you have, but it doesn't! She cried and cried, but got it out of her system and then was back to her happy self again!
Jaden at 4 months old weighed 12. 4 oz. So she is pretty close to what he weighed! Lyxi on the other hand weighed quite a lot more! Although, Tayahna has some chubba bubba thighs! They are so cute! She has been reaching for things and is pretty close to sitting up by herself! But she has yet to roll over. Kind of funny! She is actually five months old now and is eating cereal and I just started her on baby food today! She loved it and is actually really good at opening her mouth to eat!
We took her swimming for the first time and she loved the water! We just got back from camping at Granite and she sat in her blow up toy and soaked up the sun! She loved it!
She is so precious and has the biggest smile! It makes my day every time she does it! We have been so busy this summer and she just tags along everywhere we go and is happy doing it! When I got my tonsils out, I had to pump and bottle feed for a few days and she acted like she has always taken a bottle! But now she doesn't want much to do with nursing. She still nurses but it is about half of the time. Which I have the best of both worlds, she nurses and takes a bottle, so it is convenient to do either one!
Dang The Luck!!!
My Poor Baby Girl!!!
Yes, yes, it happened AGAIN!! I can not believe that my princess broke her arm again, within a 6 month time period! I just wanted to crawl in a hole and die. I felt so bad for her!
Katie and the boys were over and we were messing around outside. We all came in for a snack and Lyxi sat on the bar stool. Everyone ate their snack and Lyxi wasn't quite done so she got left up there for a while longer! I went to go get Tayahna and I saw out of the corner of my eye that Lyxi was standing on top of the bar stool and she feel before I could even say anything. She landed in the most awkward position, on her side trying to catch herself. I ran over and picked her up and held her for a minute when Katie in a panicked voice said, umm Kristi you need to look at her arm. I knew the second I looked at it, it was broken! It looked like a "U" shape! I rambled off a few naughty words (only because I was sooooo mad at myself and so sad for Lyxi, I normally don't do that but it was a bad situation that we had just gone through not 6 months prior)!!
So we rushed her to the Pinedale Clinic, thankfully Brad was home and he went with me, and Katie took Jaden and Tayahna! They braced it and sent us to Jackson where they had to set it! She broke her arm in three places, two in the radius bone and one on her ulnar bone (I think I got those names right???) The doctor had the OR team on call because he was worried that if he set the one brake it might off set the other break, so he was worried about getting everything back in line! That made me so nervous. Lyxi did so good up until they were putting the IV in her arm and they couldn't get it and blood was dripping everywhere! She was so brave and tough through the whole situation! I just cried with her, I couldn't help myself, I felt so bad for her! They made us leave when she was just about "under" and we went to the waiting room and not two minutes later the doctor came in and said he was confident that he got it set! So they took some x-rays and sure enough he had gotten it back in place without any problems! We went in and got to wake her up and she didn't cry once after that!
It hasn't slowed her down a bit! Except Brad brought home a turtle from North Dakota and Lyxi kept sticking her hands in the tub and getting her cast wet! So we had to go in and get a waterproof one! She only has one more week left and she is home free!
NEEDLESS to say, we do NOT have bar stools in our house anymore!

Lyxi for mamma's sake, can you take it slow and not be so crazy! I don't know if it carelessness, recklessness, or just plain craziness, but I can not handle this stress! I am already finding 10 gray hairs in my bangs and I am pretty sure they are all from you!!! It is a good thing you are so sweet and cute! You keep me on my toes, so thanks sweet heart!
On a side note....... Lyxi right this moment has road rash all over her nose and forehead because she was running too fast and tripped on the asphalt! She is going to be just like her daddy!!!! ;)

All Day, Every Day, Ice Cream is on the Brain!!
I wish I had a picture of Jaden eating ice cream because he seriously loves it more than he loves me, I am pretty sure of it!
The asking begins at 8 AM and doesn't stop! He had been asking all day if he could have an ice cream and I kept telling him no! He was starting to get really mad so he stopped me and said.............
"Mom, look at me in the eyes(I must say that too much to him), and then he proceeded to say, "open your lips and say 'Jaden you can have an ice cream'
What a funny little dude!!! He made me chuckle so I HAD to give him his ice cream!

Lyxi's 2nd Birthday!!
Alyxis LOVES her daddy and I love that so much! They bond together so well, and Brad acts tough, but he loves every second of her tagging along! He is a proud Daddy! Alyxis will run straight for Jaden when she gets hurt or in trouble. He gives her the biggest hug, and it melts my heart! I love that they have such a good relationship! Although we predict that she will be able to beat him up soon, she is a tough cookie :)
Alyxis had a caterpillar birthday party! She loved it and it was fun to do!
She loved opening up her presents and had this face for almost every present that she opened! She is so funny!
Lyxi got a scooter and helmet for her birthday and wouldn't take off her helmet, she loved it!
We played two games, the first one was find the caterpillar. We made caterpillar's and hid them outside. The kids had to go find them! The next game was to see who could make the fastest caterpillar! It was hilarious to see the kids wrap up in toilet paper and how much fun they had doing it! We had a great time and are grateful for the family who could share that special time with us!

-She can talk in complete sentences! She is learning so much every day! She surprises me everyday by saying something so random!!
-She got an outfit that was camo with some pink on it! It is so cute, but the camo pants had no pink on them anywhere! I went to put them on her and she refused to wear them because there was no pink on them. She kept saying, "No, Jaden's pants!" It was so funny! She can be soooo girly, but at the same time she is kind of a tom boy!
-She walks up to me every morning and says, "Make me pretty mommy!" So I pretty much have to do her hair everyday or she gets mad!
-She spread bag balm all over the walls, carpet, and herself! It was a disaster to clean up, but we made it! She used to drink from the toilet and spreads the toilet paper out, everywhere! I don't know how many rolls of toilet paper I have gone through! She is getting a little better about being so crazy, but that is a work in progress!
-Lyxi we love you so much and can't wait for many more birthdays to come! You are what keeps me going everyday!!!!! I love you sweetie!

Tayahna's Blessing!
We were able to bless Tayahna two sundays ago and it was an amazing day! We had almost all of our family on both sides there to celebrate that wonderful day! Brad gave the most amazing blessing and I am so grateful that he is a worthy preisthood holder to be able to do this and many other things for our children!
Grammy and Tayaahna!
The whole family!
Mommy and the kids!
Our sweet, little Tayahna! She looked so beautiful and was such an angel! She is such a good little baby. For her being my third child, she is mello and relaxed and is very happy! I thought this would be a hard transition, but so far so good! Maybe ask me when she starts being mobile and then that will be a different story I am sure! :) But I will take what I can get and love that Tahayna is a good snuggler and she reminds me to slow down, sit down every once and a while and relax! I love you little lady bug!!!

Ice Fishing Derby!
Brad and Sam entered an ice fishing contest. So we all decided that was a great family activity, so we loaded up the kids with all of their warm stuff and prayed for a warm day! Well Brad and Sam had it all figured out. They packed tents and chairs, heaters, all sorts of good food, fish finders, snowmobiles and the ranger! They thought the ranger would be good for the kids if it was cold and tents were for them so they could sit in their chairs and put the tents around them so it would block them from the wind. We were hooked up!
Luckily the first day was beautiful, so we did not need any of those things except the food of course! The kids played, pulled each other around on the 4 wheelers, fished and had a great time! Tayahna slept most of the time and did so good! Out of our group, Pete was the only one who could catch anything, which Brad and Sam were not too happy about :) But Sammy and Colby helped real them in and won first and second place for the kids division! The next day was not so good. So we were grateful that the boys packed all of those things! We put the tents up around us so we could still fish and be blocked from the wind! The kids still played and had a great time! Right at the end, Colby caught that BIG fish! Isn't that awesome ;)
