3. Go to your 6th picture

4. Blog about it

5. Tag other people

This is the picture that came up! It is Alyxis Marie when she was in the hospital. I can't believe that she is almost 11 months old now!! Time has gone by so fast, AAHHGGG!!! It is just crazy to think that she was only 6 lbs 2 oz, and now she is almost walking and seems like she is not my baby anymore, she is like my little GIRL!! She can just brighten your day with just her smile. Lyxi has a way with her daddy! She also acts like a drama queen already (I can't wait until she is a teenager). If Jaden touches anything that she has, she lets him know that she is not happy with him! She has what we call the "Princess" attitude. But for the most part, Lyxi is very easy going and loves anything (especially food!) When I take her anywhere I don't have to worry about her acting up because she is so mellow and goes with the flow. We love having her around and can't wait to see what adventures she has ahead of her!

Who Has TIme For Homemade Bread!!!

I have always wanted to be a good wife and make homemade bread for my family. I thought it would take to long and man, if it turned out anything like my bread machine bread, then I knew it would be a disaster. It wouldn't raise or it would raise too much..... I must not be a baker.

But my sister, Stefanie, found a great homemade bread recipe that a dummy like me could follow. It tastes great, it is very easy, and it makes you feel like a domestic wife. This is originally for your food storage because there is only 5 ingredients and we should have all of these ingredients in our food storage anyway. So thanks Stef!

Food Storage Bread

1 tbsp yeast
1 tbsp salt
1/3 c honey
2 c warm water
4-5 c flour

Add yeast, salt, and honey to the warm water. I don't use a whole tbsp of salt. It tastes a little much for me. Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes to activate the yeast. Add the mixture to the flour and knead together. Spray your large loaf pan and place bread in there. Let rise until desired (I usually let rise for 1 hr or so). Then bake.
@ 400 for 25-30 minutes.

Our Little Adventure!

We went 4-wheeling by Baxter Pass. This was a few weeks ago, and that is why you can still see snow. But we had quite the little adventure as we covered ourselves in mud and had a great time.

Jaden had a smile from ear to ear. This is his kind of fun. I quess that means he is all boy. He told Brad "Faster Daddy, Faster."
Alyxis just smiled as we trugged along through the mud and snow. It was quite the experience.

Winters In Wyoming! Oh How Lovely!

We snowmobiled up to the cabin with Sam and Katie and the boys. All of the kids had a blast. I strapped lyxi in the bjorn and she did so well.

Jaden, Sammy, and Colby in the sled behing the snow mobile. Jaden wasn't so sure about it and then realized how fun it was. He sure has fun with his cousins!
Jaden in his snow suit that he got for his birthday. He was so bundled up that he could hardly move. But he stayed warm and that's all that matters.

Catching Up! Here Goes!!!

New Years Eve! Jaden was so funny, he was running everywhere he went, when it was about 10:00, he started slowing down to a slow jog. When 11:00 hit he was down to walking and then it was 11:30 and he was tired so we let him say his toast and then 15 minutes later he was knocked out! He almost made it!! Grammy and Grandpa Stevens came down and enjoyed the New Years with us. We played a game called" The Construction Game" almost all night. If you have never played, it is a great game. But that lasted most of the night and we ate lots of food and had lots of fun. Then the next day we went snowmobiling and had a blast!

Christmas at the White House. It is so much more fun having kids during the holidays. The older they get, the more fun. Jaden had a blast opening all the presents and playing with his toys. Lyxi had no idea, but one next year she will be lots of fun!

There is nothing better than Kiddie Kandids!

Jaden just turned 2 so it was time to get pictures taken. It is always quite an adventure to try to get Jaden to hold still for more than 2 minutes. But we got some cute pictures. They are not the best quality becasue I took a picture of the original picture, but that's ok. They turned out great.

This one just melts my heart. I sure am a proud mother. I feel blessed that the Lord has given me these two wonderful children.

Our little pincess! She is the best baby ever. If Alyxis cries there is something wrong, she is either hungry, tired, or needs a diaper change. It is usually that simple with her, we lucked out and are so glad she is apart of our family.
