Dentists!!!

I told Jadens all of his toddler life that too much sugar would rot out his teeth, and sure enough it happened! Seriously, I thought I was doing good, we only would have one sugar snack a day(except at Grandma's house) and we brushed his teeth on a regular basis! But unfortunately he is going to have his fathers teeth! We went to the dentist for a cleaning, thought nothing of it, and BAM he told us we had to see a pediatric dentist because Jaden has 4 possible baby root canals and 6 fillings! I about died when he told us that, I felt like the worst mother ever! But then my mom told me that Doc. Kunards daughter had the same thing, then I felt a little better, but not much!

So Jaden and I went down to Idaho Falls and the first day we were there we got two cavities filled and jaden was a great boy and sat there the whole time while the dentist worked on his teeth. The next time we went down, he had to get put under and they did the top right side of his mouth! They did a root canal and now he has a silver cap over that tooth! Poor Jaden did so good through all of it. When he came too, he was DRUGED! He was so loopy it was a little comical! I had to go get formula for Tayahna so we ran into the store and he would try to get up and then we would fall back in the cart. He had no sense of anything, he was so cute. It was like he was a giant one month old baby! We hurried so he didn't have to endure much of that, but then he slept all of the way home and felt good as new when he got back!

We still have to go back one more time! I am so sorry buddy that this had to happen to you! I wish I could have prevented it somehow, and maybe I could have, but he brushes alot better now!!!!
