We went up to the Gorge for the 4th. Katie's family and my family came and we had a great time. We found the perfect spot, the water was rising a foot and a half a day so we were lucky to find such a good spot.
This is one of the many mortars we let off over the weekend. We put on quite a good show. The boys loved it and we couldn't keep them away from the matches after that. We are raising little pyromaniacs.
This is Sam preparing the mortars! The next night Stef and Lamar brought out a lot of fireworks, but I was too busy making sure the kids didn't blow themselves up that I didn't get any pictures.
We had a friendly game of texas hold em going on. Sam is still holding out on my mom to pay him the 40 dollars:)

Brad and Val on the tub. That looks like it was an easy ride, but they were being tossed like rag dolls on the water. Val got dumped three times and them Brad finally bit the bullet the last time. It was pretty funny to watch!
