We had a great weekend at Powder Wash, which is right on the Wyoming-Colorado border. Brad's family and my family got together and 4 wheeled the whole weekend. It did rain one day, but we stopped and made a fire and dried out and then went right back at it.
This is my family who stopped to take a lunch break. It really wasn't that cold which was nice. We had a great day. They just got into dutch oven cooking and made some awesome food.

Of coarse Brad had to bring his guns so he is helping Jaden shoot his first gun. Sammy and Colby all got their turns as well.
This is Jessie shooting her first gun as well. Doesn't she look professional??? She did not want me to blog about it, but we had too because it's pay back for all of those jokes on my expense, haha! Can you believe that she had never shot a gun before, Zane was pretty disgusted that this was the case, but now she can say she has done it!
Jaden and Alyxis playing in the dirt. I think I got the worst mother of the year award because I put sunscreen on both of my kids but on Lyxi I missed around her eyes. She looked so awful. She had swollen eyes and they were bright red, I felt soooo bad. I guess the only good thing that comes from this is that it will never happen again. Overall, we had a great weekend full of eating good food, good company, and beautiful country.
